This Privacy Policy explains how PepCalc Pro handles information when you use the app.

Summary
- No accounts. The app does not require you to create an account.
- Local-first. Your data is stored on your device.
- No tracking. The app does not use advertising trackers.
- No server by default. The app does not provide a backend service for syncing or storing your data.
Information the app stores (on your device)
The app stores the following information locally on your device to provide functionality:
- Calculator inputs and outputs (e.g., vial amount, diluent, target amount, unit preset, rounding).
- Saved preparations (names and calculated values).
- Schedules (including reminder settings).
- Scheduled occurrences (upcoming reminder times).
- Records (timestamp, status, notes, associated preparation/schedule where applicable).
- Inventory vials (amounts, dates, status, notes) and inventory history (ledger entries).
- Settings (e.g., default units, app lock preference).
Notifications
The app can schedule local notifications (reminders) on your device if you enable reminders.
- Local notifications are scheduled and delivered by your device’s operating system.
- The app does not send remote push notifications from our servers as part of normal operation.
You can control notifications in your device settings.
Biometrics / App Lock (optional)
If you enable App Lock, the app may use your device’s biometric authentication (e.g., Face ID / Touch ID) or device passcode via operating system APIs.
- Biometric data is handled by iOS and is not accessible to the app.
- The app receives only a success/failure result from the system authentication prompt.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data.
The app shares your data only in these situations:
- When you explicitly export/share. If you export logs or share generated files (e.g., CSV/PDF), your device’s share sheet sends that content to the destination you choose. This is entirely user-initiated.
- Service providers (platform/runtime). The app runs on Apple iOS and uses standard runtime libraries to provide core functionality. These providers may process limited device information necessary for the app to run (as governed by their own policies).
Analytics and tracking
The app does not include advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps and websites.
If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide configuration options where required by law.
Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect data within the app, including:
- Keeping data stored locally on the device.
- Supporting optional App Lock.
No method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing access to your device.
Children’s privacy
The app is intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates to this page and revise the effective date above.
