A beginner-friendly flow that matches how the app is designed to be used.
Start in Calculator
Enter vial, diluent, target amount, choose an instrument capacity, verify result. Switch to Blend for a vial with several components.
Save a Preparation
Reuse a “recipe” and preserve the show‑math snapshot.
Use Schedules
Daily, weekly, or every X days, with optional local reminders (no servers).
Records + Inventory
Record Completed/Skipped, optionally decrement vials, and see how long a vial will last.

Calculator amount → units → mL
What it does
Computes units + mL from vial amount, diluent volume, and target amount.
- Single / Blend switch at the top (Blend is covered in the next topic)
- Optional Show math (Basic/Advanced)

- Tap Save Preparation when valid
When there is no result
- A field is empty or is not a positive number
- The target is larger than the amount in the vial
- The result rounds to 0 units (increase the target or use more diluent)
- The result exceeds the chosen capacity
Blends 2 to 6 components · new in 1.2
What it does
Calculates one measurement for a vial that contains several components, and shows how much of each component that measurement contains.
- Choose the number of components (2 to 6)
- Enter a name (optional) and the amount of each one, as stated on your label
- Optional label total check catches a mistyped amount
- Target one component or the total blend
- Name it and tap Save Preparation in the Result card
- Change a saved blend with Edit → Edit composition
Good to know
- The app does not know what is in your vial. It supplies no names, amounts, or ratios, and it does not check them.
- You need the amount of every component. If your label only gives a total, use Single mode with the total; you get the measurement without a breakdown.
- Records and inventory use the total amount of the blend.
Preparations save reusable “recipes”
Key actions
- Save from Calculator with a name; you are then offered a vial for it
- View result + unit gauge visualization
- A saved blend also shows its composition, in the vial and per measurement
- Export as PDF or image
- Edit to rename or recalculate: upcoming entries and reminders update, past records do not change
- Delete is blocked if referenced by schedules
Schedules & reminders daily · weekly · every X days
Key actions
- Create a schedule in the Protocols tab, tied to a Preparation
- Pick Daily, Weekly (chosen days), or Every X days, and a start date/time
- Add up to six times a day, and an optional end date
- Enable/disable local reminders
- Optional default vial: “Record completed” on a reminder deducts from it in one tap
- View as a list or on a calendar
- Deleting removes future occurrences (history stays)
Reminders
- Actions: Record completed, Snooze 10/30/60 minutes, or Skip
- An entry not recorded within 60 minutes becomes “Not completed” the next time you open the app
- Open the app from time to time; it schedules the next reminders each time it opens
Records Completed / Skipped · delete
- Record entries manually or from a reminder
- A record made by hand attaches to that day’s scheduled entry, if there is one
- When Completed, optionally decrement an inventory vial
- Edit entries (status/time/notes); inventory decrements reverse when appropriate
- Delete Record (at the bottom of an entry): the amount is returned to the vial and the scheduled entry is reopened
- Blend records keep the amount of each component
- Activity summary for the last 7 and 30 days
- Export logs as CSV or PDF (user-initiated)
Inventory vials + depletion
- Track remaining/total + expiration
- Scheduled use: how many scheduled measurements are left and when the vial runs out (set the vial as a schedule’s default vial)
- Vial alerts: a notification 3 days before a vial expires or is projected to run out
- Low-stock alerts and history ledger
- Discard preserves history when needed; discarded vials are hidden unless the filter is All
Settings security + defaults
- App Lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode), with a choice of when it locks: Immediately, 1, 5, or 15 minutes
- Default units (vial + target amount)
- Vial alerts on/off
- Toggle advanced rounding controls
- Backup & restore, Export/Share, and disclaimer access
- Send diagnostics: emails support the app version and recent errors, with no names, amounts, or records
Privacy note
Reminders are local notifications. No remote servers required for scheduling.
Backup & restore move to a new phone · new in 1.2
Your data is stored only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud copy, so a backup file is the way to keep it safe.
- Settings → Backup & restore → Create backup makes one file and opens the share sheet. Save it outside the app (Files, iCloud Drive).
- The file is not encrypted. Keep it somewhere private.
- Restore from backup shows what the file contains and asks you to confirm.
- Restoring replaces everything in the app and cannot be undone.
- Reminders are scheduled again after restoring.
Moving to a new phone
- Old phone: create a backup and save the file where the new phone can reach it.
- New phone: install the app and accept the notice.
- Settings → Backup & restore → Restore from backup.
App Lock is not carried over; turn it on again on the new phone.
Common questions quick answers
How do I delete a record I added by mistake?
Open it from the Records tab and tap Delete Record at the bottom.
My label only gives a total for the blend. What can I do?
Use Single mode with the total amount. You get the measurement for a total-blend target; the app cannot show how much of each component it contains.
A reminder said “Record completed” but opened the app instead of recording.
You have vials in inventory and the schedule has no default vial, or its default vial is empty. Choose a vial on the form. To record in one tap next time, set a default vial on the schedule.
My reminders stopped.
Check that notifications are allowed for the app in your phone’s settings, and open the app: it schedules the next reminders each time it opens.
Dates or numbers look wrong for my region.
Dates follow your phone’s region format. For numbers, use the decimal separator your phone’s keypad shows.
